Seth Harris is in his second year coaching Men’s and Women’s Tennis at Doane University, which plays in the Great Plains Athletic Conference. His players are gearing up for their Spring season, and it looks like they’re also excited about partnering with Recycleballs (as evidenced by the above picture!).
Seth thinks partnering with a program like Recycleballs could not only attract new recruits to play tennis at Doane University, but also attract first-time and long time tennis players in their surrounding community.
Seth played tennis at Central College in Iowa, and then went on to enter the world of teaching and coaching tennis, with prior stints at Wakonda Country Club, the Ames Racquet and Fitness Club, and Iowa State University. At Doane, he loves how much his players are bonding. He says, “While half of the team is from Nebraska, and the other half are ‘non-natives,’ they’ve all come together to improve their game, and in the process they’ve formed great friendships (one player even had the opportunity to crash at a teammate’s house in Spain last summer!).”
We’re really excited to be partnered with Seth and Doane University Tennis, and wish them the best of luck this season!
