Endre Esztergomi is a retired Senior Executive with over 20 years of experience in international development with extensive experience in managing international organizations’ accounting, contracting, administrative and IT functions. His areas of expertise include financial planning and analysis, budgeting, establishing company policies on government accounting regulations, and accounting system design and implementation.
Endre started his career in project management at ACDI/VOCA, a global development nonprofit, then moved on to accounting and rose to Vice President of Finance and Accounting. While working at Children’s Resources International as Controller, he established and negotiated CRI’s government contracting cost recovery system. He led the Accounting, Contracting and IT departments as CFO at Cardno Emerging Markets, with offices all over the world. Prior to these positions, he held various accounting positions in Hungary at PepsiCo Snacks and L’Oreal Inc.
Endre holds an M.S. degree in Enterprise Management, majoring in finance from Szent Istvan University in Hungary. He was a Chartered Accountant in Hungary, and his native language is Hungarian.
Endre is an avid tennis player and enthusiast, and he is proud to have two sons currently playing college tennis. His eldest son started recycling tennis balls in 2019 at JTCC in College Park, MD, handing off the project to his younger brother when he left for college. To date, that facility has recycled over 50 thousand balls. Endre lives in Bethesda, MD with his wife, Erika.
