Ariella Sela is an accomplished Sustainability Consultant currently working at Pure Strategies, who brings her expertise in the field of sustainability to the RecycleBalls team. A graduate of Emory University with a BS in Environmental Science and Sustainability Management, Ariella furthered her education at Tufts University’s Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, earning an MS in Agriculture, Food & Environment, and an MPH (Master of Public Health) from Tufts University Medical School.
Ariella’s remarkable career accomplishments include helping numerous companies such as TAZO and Stonyfield set and work towards achieving Science-Based Targets to lower their corporate greenhouse gas footprint. She also led Delta Airlines’ first materiality assessment to determine which Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues should be addressed as part of their sustainability strategy.
Outside of her professional life, Ariella is an avid hiker, cyclist, yoga practitioner, and enjoys cooking, reading, and writing. She cherishes spending time with her partner, Carmen, their pup, and two cats, who she calls family.
Ariella’s connection to RecycleBalls is driven by her interest in diving into the social and environmental impacts associated with the tennis industry and sports sustainability. She is excited to bring her expertise in sustainability to help RecycleBalls improve those impacts and contribute to the organization’s mission.
